Potter County is a well-known, outdoor-oriented tourism destination and the Potter County Visitors Association (PCVA) has made it a priority to assist current businesses and startup businesses, as well as facilitate the communitywide discussion of "What's Next" for Potter County. Working with hundreds of local, regional and state partners, PCVA has been able to complete many "Destination Changing" projects, including trail systems, improvements at state and local parks, and the recent renovations at the Pennsylvania Lumber Museum.
Potter County is currently an active member of two regional tourism initiatives: The Pennsylvania Wilds and the Pennsylvania Route 6 Alliance. These regional efforts allow for neighboring counties to combine resources and energy to enhance local economic development and promote their unique recreational opportunities, unique attractions and charming communities.
As the official tourist promotion agency for Potter County, the Potter County Visitors Association (PCVA) is often the first point of contact for potential developments or as businesses look to locate or expand here in the county. PCVA is a community resource that can provide a wealth of research and access to resources including local, state and federal contacts and access to marketing and promotional opportunities.
If you are looking to start up a business or develop a new tourism asset, trail or other project, please contact PCVA Executive Director, David Brooks at call us at 814-274-3365.
